Grey Nun Community Fund
The Grey Nun Community Fund was established to perpetuate the mission, values, and philosophy of the Grey Nuns by making grants to organizations in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan that are devoted to improving and protecting the health and welfare of people. The Community Fund prefers to partner with organizations and make proactive grants through an open application process for eligible nonprofit organizations.

Applying to the Grey Nun Community Fund
Organizations that believe they meet the criteria described above may initiate contact with the Grey Nun Community Fund by submitting a Letter of Intent either by email or by US Mail. The Community Fund will accept a Letter of Intent at any time. The Community Fund will review each letter and respond to every applicant, typically within one month. Organizations meeting the priorities and criteria of the Community Fund will be invited by the Fund to submit a full proposal and asked to host Fund representatives for a site visit. The Fund’s grant-making is limited--awards typically range from $10,000 - $50,000. Periodically, the Fund will make multi-year commitments.
