Cash Gifts
The simplest way to make a gift is to contribute by cash, check or credit card. Making an undesignated gift allows us to use funds where they are needed most.  You can designate your gift to a special purpose fund or in honor / memory of a special person.

Gifts of Stock/Securities
Donating appreciated stock to Mercy Health Foundation - Lourdes is an ideal gift option, making it possible for you to potentially deduct the fair market value of the gift and avoid capital gains tax on appreciation. To transfer a gift of stocks, call Mercy Health Foundation - Lourdes (270) 444-2381 for further instructions.

Charitable Gift Annuity
A charitable gift annuity is a contract between a donor and Mercy Health Foundation - Lourdes in exchange for a contribution of cash, stocks or bonds.  Annuity payments to the donor are made annually or quarterly for the rest of the donor's life, with the remainder of the gift going to Mercy Health Foundation - Lourdes to benefit the donor's preferred program.  Annuity rates are determined by the American Council on Gift Annuities, based on the annuitant's age when making the gift.  Annuitants must be 65 or older and make a gift of at least $10,000, or $5,000 to open subsequent annuities on the same schedule.

Bequest in a Will
A gift designated in your will may provide outright support for Mercy Health Foundation - Lourdes, establish a trust, or create a life income gift that will benefit both our ministry and your heirs.  You may bequeath property or cash, or a percentage of your estate.  You may also designate the purpose for which you would like your gift used.  To discuss a bequest or to notify us of a gift already included in your will, please call Mercy Health Foundation - Lourdes (270) 444-2381.

Gift of Life Insurance
To make a large gift with little or no cost to yourself, simply change ownership to Mercy Health Foundation - Lourdes on a policy you no longer need.

Commemorative Brick Program
Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital is pleased to offer an opportunity to be a part of our history through the Foundation's Commemorative Brick Program. As a lasting tribute, laser engraved bricks will be set in the walkway leading to the Marshall Nemer Pavilion or the Norman & Mary Rose Higdon Greenberg Serenity Garden. Purchase a brick for yourself or in honor or memory of friends or loved ones. Even commemorate special occasions such as a birth, anniversary or graduation. Download order form here.

Little Miracles Recognition Wall
Mercy Health Foundation – Lourdes created the Little Miracles Recognition Wall to commemorate births, honor loved ones and recognize caregivers. We invite you to purchase stars or clouds to celebrate those that are special in your life. The wall is located on the 2nd floor of the hospital in the Little Miracles Birthing Center. All proceeds will benefit the Dr. Lisa Chaney Lasher Women’s Services Fund.  Download the order form here.
