Many people are affected by cancer at some point in their lives. Being able to provide the support in the healing process across all facets of life is the goal of the Center for Body, Mind and Spirit at the Mercy Cancer Center. By being able to help fund treatments, provide support to families, and offer coping skills, the goal is to enhance a patient's quality of life. Patients and families are taught to focus on the psychological, emotional, spiritual and social aspects of healing through the programs and services offered. Patients and families can learn to soothe the mind, nurture the spirit and care for the soul. Programs and services are free to anyone touched by cancer.
