Mercy Health and the Mercy Foundation of Lorain County Unveil the Newly Renovated Veard Family Birthing Center at Mercy Regional Medical Center

In honor of the Veard Family’s transformative gift, Mercy Health Lorain proudly dedicated the Veard Family Birthing Center at Mercy Regional Medical Center with a special unveiling ceremony at on Thursday, May 18.

The newly renovated birthing suites, updated to create a beautiful, home-like setting for patients and families, reflect Mercy’s commitment to providing the best environment and care for each and every patient and their families.

Services available at the Veard Family Birthing Center include:

• Private delivery rooms with all the amenities of home
• Obstetrician in the hospital 24 hours per day
• Neonatologist on staff
• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for babies who need intensive care immediately after birth
• Classes to prepare you for childbirth and caring for your baby
