Ways to Give

With your gift to Mercy Health Foundation Greater Lima, you invest in the health and well-being of your family, friends and neighbors close to home and throughout our community. We’ll help to increase the impact of your giving so you can make even more of a difference. You’ll become a partner in Ohio’s largest health system, with the stability and innovative spirit to ensure that your giving leaves a legacy.
You can trust that your dollars are put to good use by a reliable partner and a gracious steward. You’ll have the opportunity to develop relationships with other faith-driven philanthropists. And you’ll experience the inspiration and joy that comes with giving, because “God loves a cheerful giver.”
We’re grateful for your generosity and caring. On behalf of all those who will benefit from your gift, thank you!

The “Catherine McAuley Circle” was named after Mother Catherine McAuley, Founder of the Sisters of Mercy who sponsor St. Rita’s Medical Center. It was established by Mercy Health Foundation Greater Lima Planned Giving Committee in 1979 to recognize and honor all who have remembered St. Rita’s in their will or have arranged another type of planned gift.

The Catherine McAuley Circle offers St. Rita’s Medical Center and the Foundation the opportunity to honor and recognize individuals for your very special gift.
·    Your name will be listed on the Catherine McAuley Circle plaque located on the Wall of Honor in the main lobby of the Medical Center.
·    Your name will also be published in the medical center’s quarterly publication, RitaScope.
·    In addition, you will receive invitations to special events and programs sponsored by Mercy Health Foundation Greater Lima throughout the year.
Memorial Gifts
In honor of a cherished loved one, you can designate a donation to any area at St. Rita's. Acknowledgment of your gift will be sent to you and to the person you designate.
Share Your Blessings
Started in 1987, Share Your Blessings is a wonderful way to remember or honor a loved one at the Holidays and make a charitable donation to St. Rita’s Medical Center at the same time.

For each donation received, an Angel Bell ornament will be placed on the Christmas Tree in the Father Larry Eiting Chapel. The chapel is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Share Your Blessings donors and family members are invited to visit the chapel any time during the holiday season.

Grateful Patients
Donations from grateful patients and families are used for new and expanded services and programs. An essential piece of our mission over the years has been not only to provide physical relief to patients who are ill or injured, but emotional and spiritual comfort as well. Gifts from grateful patients and families have been made in honor of individual caregivers, a specific nursing team, physicians, Spiritual Care staff and others who live our mission in their daily work. St. Rita’s Health Partners  recognizes these outstanding staff members for their hard work, commitment to excellence in patient satisfaction and dedication to our mission. If you wish to recognize a particular member of our team or a department, making a donation in their honor is an excellent avenue. If you choose, please tell us how the individual or team touched you or your family’s life and we will share your story with our staff.

This is what we were meant to do.

Join our mission to help the poor and underserved be well.
